The holidays are soon approaching which means holiday parties and lots of pictures with friends and family.
The holidays also mean getting camera ready be it for your annual holiday card or family portraits.
Hair plays a major part of getting ready for the holidays.
If you come from a large family, you all may crowd in the bathroom doing each other’s hair or if you are like me and come from a smaller family it might not be as involved or quite as long of a process. We all want our hair to be just right for our pictures.
I remember growing up having my mother do my hair in preparation for Thanksgiving dinner which always takes place at my parents’ house.
This year will be no different although the times of my mother doing my hair are long gone. I still hold those memories close as I do my own hair and my son’s hair right before the annual Thanksgiving dinner.
My mom and I.
I am now the one prepping hair before the day’s events. I didn’t have a daughter but had a son with long flowing locks that required just as much care.
My mom and son on Thanksgiving
We have since cut his hair but his curly hair even short still has to be washed and styled for the day’s festivities. Although this year the little one will be away for Thanksgiving I will still have to get myself and my hair ready for the day.
I have been a big fan of the Garnier® Whole Blends™ line since I started using it a few months back.
The entire Whole Blends™ line is paraben-free and gentle for everyday use. Having run out of my Garnier® Whole Blends™ Hydrating Haircare with Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk extracts shampoo and conditioner I decided to try one of the other formulas in the Whole Blends line.
I picked up the Garnier® Whole Blends™ Color Care with Argan Oil & Cranberry Extracts shampoo and conditioner because not only does it have Argan Oil extracts but the added cranberry scent just seem so festive and perfect for the season.
This particular formula is for color care and is meant to protect color and reveal radiance.
Since I am currently growing out my last dye job I thought that this would be perfect as my color needs a bit of a pick me up. The smell is amazing and my hair looks and feels great.
I will definitely add the Garnier® Whole Blends™ Color Care with Argan Oil & Cranberry Extracts shampoo and conditioner to my product line up and look forward to trying the other formulas in the Garnier® Whole Blends™ family.
