What is Fit Life Creative?
First let me say welcome! I am so happy to have you here.
Fit Life Creative is a creative oasis for those that love all things planners, printables, stickers and design.
We weren’t always Fit Life Creative but more about that later. Fit Life Creative is your source for free printables for your favorite planners.
If you you want to try your hand at design I am currently working on a tutorial library to help you learn to create your own printables and stickers.
Be sure to check out my toolbox for all of my design resources.
Who is Danielle?
I am Danielle! A US Coast Guard veteran and creator of Fit Life Creative and Oh So Paper (physical sticker shop).
I am a complete and utter stationery addict and love everything about color and design. I currently reside in Oklahoma with my son and our cat Mr. Jingles.
If you think I’m really awesome then let’s get social.
If you need to reach me privately then shoot me a message.
How did you get started?
I started creating printables back in 2014 when the site went by the name of Fitness Fashionista (read more that here).
Those printables quickly took off and the site started to really get a massive amount of attention.
Even Kohl’s had me create a printable for their Make Your Move campaign (check it out it’s still popular to this day).
However, I knew that a career in design was for me when I was sitting in nursing school in Adult Health thinking about all the ways I could color code my classes, clinicals and assignments.
It was clear that nursing wasn’t my calling. Instead, my life headed down the path of design and organization.
On December 2014, I left nursing school to become a professional blogger/graphic designer. The rest is pretty much history!
Should I quit school and start a blog?
Honest answer? NO! Although I didn’t finish nursing school I do believe that education is very important.
I hold two degrees one in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting and a degree in Education.
I obtained both at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA while serving active duty.
I wholeheartedly believe that those degrees have served me well in this business and in life.
I do however wish I would have discovered my calling earlier so that I could have added a graphic design degree into the mix.
Now, if you are thinking about starting a blog I wrote an extensive post to help you get started and it even includes a video to walk you through the process.
